Imperial octavo, two volumes, original publisher's cloth with gilt titles and lure detailing to the spine in six compartments within gilt bands, double gilt ruling to the front panels, vignette inlay of a lure in gilt to the front panels, top edges gilt, tissue-guarded frontispiece to volume one, illustrated with tissue-guarded engravings and plates.
