The Nonesuch Press limited edition of the tercentenary celebration of the first publication of the text of De Motu Cordis. Octavo, bound in full russet morocco with gilt titles to the spine in six compartments within raised bands, double gilt ruling to the front and rear panel, top edge gilt, inner dentelles stamped in blind, title page vignette, with four anatomical illustrations. One of 1450 numbered copies, this is number 828. In near fine condition. Edited by Geoffrey Keynes with a bibliographical postscript and textual notes. Illustrations drawn by Stephen Gooden and engraved by C. Sigrist.
