The story follows Hiro Protagonist, a hacker and pizza delivery driver, and a teen skateboard courier named Y.T., as they uncover a conspiracy involving a computer virus called "Snow Crash" that affects both the virtual and real worlds, blending elements of Sumerian mythology, linguistics, and computer science. It was name by TIME Magazine as one of the 100 all-time best English-language novels.
