Octavo, three volumes bound in three quarter levant morocco over marbled boards by Adams bindery with gilt titles and decorations depicting a variety of big game animals to the spine in six compartments within raised gilt bands, marbled endpapers, top edge gilt, profusely illustrated with photographs and drawings including illustrations from "Forest and Stream" by Ernest Seton Thompson, tissue-guarded frontispiece to each volume including portrait of Theodore Roosevelt to American Big-Game Hunting. In near fine condition. From the library of Ferdinand Grant Loeb, with his armorial bookplate to each volume. Loeb, associated with the publishing operations of Forest and Stream, played a role in the production and dissemination of the Boone and Crockett Club volumes, working within the same publishing network that supported the Club’s early conservation efforts and helped bring its writings to a wider audience.
