Rare Russian rocketry book signed by the first human to journey into outer space, Yuri Gagarin. Quarto, original half cloth over illustrated boards, illustrated with numerous Space Race-related photographs and illustrations, folding diagram of Gemini capsule's instrument panel. Presentation copy, inscribed and signed by Yuri Gagarin on the title page. In very good condition. Books signed and inscribed by Gagarin are rare, this is the only second example we have seen.
