Rare original White House card inscribed by President William Howard Taft, "For Robert H. Schutz of Hartford, with best wishes, Wm. H. Taft, Feb 21st, 1913." Double matted and framed with a medallion of Taft by Barber. The entire piece measures 14.5 inches by 9 inches. Rare and desirable.
William Howard Taft served as the 27th President of the United States (1909–1913) and as the 10th Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court (1921–1930), the only person to have held both offices.
