First edition of one of the great classics of children's literature. Octavo, original cloth. Very good in a very good dust jacket. Jacket design by Reisie Lonette. An nice example.

The film was remade in 2003 and starred Joseph Ashton, Dabney Coleman, Ned Beatty and Dave Matthews.
