Eighteenth century printing of L’Estrange’s acclaimed English translation of Josephus. Octavo, bound in full period calf with six raised bands to the spine, morocco spine label lettered in gilt, illustrated with one folding map and two copper plates. In good condition. A scarce edition of L'Estrange's translation, with only a handful of other copies traced in auction and library records.
