Francis M. Walbran was a British author and angler whose writings contribute to late nineteenth- and early twentieth-century fly-fishing literature, particularly in their attention to regional waters and practical technique. Working within a tradition that blended sporting instruction with natural observation, Walbran documented local fishing conditions, seasonal patterns, and the craft knowledge of effective fly choice and presentation.
