Octavo, bound in half-vellum over cloth covered boards with gilt titles to the spine, tissue-guarded frontispiece, title page vignette, illustrated with maps and paragraph initial decorations, and printed on Japon Vellum. One of 1,050 numbered copies, this is number 380. In near fine condition. Edited with introduction, notes, and appendixes by N.M. Penzer. From the Elizabethan translation of John Frampton. The original woodcut appearing on the title page is by William Monk, bookplate of Marion Wood to the front pastedown.
