Secondari was a distinguished American television producer and author, renowned for co-producing the Emmy and Peabody‑winning series 'Saga of Western Man' alongside his second wife, Helen Jean. Helen Jean Rogers Secondari (1928–1998), a magna cum laude graduate of the Catholic University of America and one of Harvard's earliest female teaching fellows, collaborated extensively with Secondari, earning five Emmy Awards and two Peabody Awards for their joint work in documentary filmmaking.
