Yours sincerely Geoffrey Keynes." Geoffrey Keynes (1887–1982) was a distinguished British bibliographer, surgeon, and literary scholar, best known for his authoritative editions of William Blake and John Donne. The younger brother of economist John Maynard Keynes, Geoffrey combined his medical career with a lifelong dedication to literary scholarship, producing influential bibliographies and critical works that helped shape modern Blake studies and textual scholarship in general. The Complete Angler, first published in 1653, has become a classic of English literature. Where other angling books are of limited appeal to those who do not fish, The Complete Angler inspires readers from all walks of life to go in search of the timeless English countryside that Walton evokes with such love.
