Presentation copy, inscribed by the author, "For Vincent Starrett: with all the regard of Thornton Wilder Chicago April 1929." Laid in is a lecture pamphlet by Thornton Wilder, with the introduction done by Starrett. The recipient Vincent Starrett, was an American writer, newspaperman, and bibliophile. Starrett's signature and bookplate, near fine in a near fine dust jacket with light rubbing and wear. Illustrated by Amy Drevenstedt. Housed in a custom cloth and chemise box.
