Small octavo, bound in full vellum with gilt titles and tooling to the spine in five compartments, morocco spine labels, illustrated with 25 engravings of the principal monuments and a map of Rome. Carefully revised and enlarged with an account of the latest antiquarian researches by archaeologist Antonio Nibby. In very good condition with toning and soiling to the panels. Ownership inscription to the front free endpaper and annotations throughout.
