Octavo, original green cloth with gilt titles to the spine, pictorial front panel stamped in gilt, top edge gilt, tissue-guarded frontispiece, illustrated from drawings made by the author in 1869 and from gravure plates photographs by Herbert W. Gleason with printed tissue guards. In near fine condition, name to the front free endpaper. A very nice example.
