Mother Teresa and Chancellor Kohl met on July 13, 1986 at Mother Teresa's home in Oggersheim. Kohl gained a reputation for his strong commitment to European integration and French–German cooperation. He was also a dedicated ally of the United States and supported Reagan's policies in order to weaken the Soviet Union. He has been described as "the greatest European leader of the second half of the 20th century" by both U.S. Presidents George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton. In fine condition.
