Signed Limited First Edition of Love In The Time Of Cholera; One of 350 Copies

Signed limited first edition, one of only 350 copies of this classic work, this example being a presentation copy unnumbered and gifted to the author for dispersion. Octavo, original cloth. Boldly signed by Gabriel Garcia Marquez on the limitation page. Fine in the original acetate dust jacket in the slipcase. Translated from the Spanish by Edith Grossman.

"This shining and heartbreaking novel may be one of the greatest love stories ever told," wrote the New York Times. It's a "sumptuous book[with] major themes of love, death, the torments of memory, the inexorability of old age" (The Washington Post). The English-language movie adaptation was released in 2007, starring Academy Award-nominated Brazilian actress Fernanda Montenegro.
