Quarto, two volumes, bound in quarter black morocco over cloth boards by Morrell with gilt titles on morocco labels to the spine, top edge gilt, vignette title pages, with illustrations throughout. Boldly signed by illustrator John Groth on the colophon page at the rear. One of 1,500 numbered copies, this is number 236. In near fine condition. Introduction by Henry Steele Commager.
