Rare original black and white photograph of legendary American writer Ernest Hemingway. Black and white vintage photograph of Hemingway most likely in a bar in Cuba wearing a white button-up with fishing guide Taylor Williams in a striped button-up to his right. Hemingway’s friendship with Taylor “Beartracks” Williams, the well-known Sun Valley hunting and fishing guide, dated back to their meeting in Idaho in the late 1930s, after which Hemingway frequently returned to Ketchum before eventually settling there. In fine condition. The piece measures 10 inches by 8 inches. Together with another vintage photograph of Hemingway looking away from the camera and Mary Hemingway smiling besides the captain of a boat while they were in Cuba.
