Rare Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Company stock certificate signed by American financier and railroad executive E.H. Harriman. Quarto, one page partially printed and accomplished in manuscript with an attractive vignette of a B&O train, cancellation hole punches, the certificate is dated January 18, 1901 and issues 100 shares of the Capital Stock in the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Company to Harriman. Signed by Harriman in fountain pen on the verso. Handsomely cloth-matted and framed with a portrait of Harriman and an informational placard, and a window in the backing for viewing the signature. In fine condition. The piece measures 26.75 inches by 20 inches.
