Clint April 23 - 1955." Near fine in a very good dust jacket. Jacket design by Herbert Bayer. Books signed and inscribed by Rossiter are rare as he passed away suddenly in 1970.
Clinton Rossiter was a historian and political scientist at Cornell University who wrote The American Presidency, among 20 other books, and won both the Bancroft Prize and the Woodrow Wilson Foundation Award for his book Seedtime of the Republic.
