Rare Apollo 11 oversized photograph. Color satin-finish oversized photograph of the iconic Apollo 11 'visor shot' of Buzz Aldrin taken by Neil Armstrong during their Apollo 11 EVA, boldly signed by Buzz Aldrin in black felt tip. Matted and framed with a small plaque to the bottom margin that states, "Apollo 11 Buzz Aldrin July 1969." In fine condition. The entire piece measures 24 inches by 20 inches. Buzz Aldrin was one of the astronauts on NASA's Apollo 11 mission, which successfully landed the first humans on the Moon on July 20, 1969, where he spent 21 hours on the lunar surface, including a memorable moment when he and Armstrong planted the American flag. After leaving NASA, Aldrin has continued to advocate for space exploration, becoming involved in multiple ventures aimed at advancing space travel and promoting missions to Mars.
