Octavo, original publisher's green cloth with gilt titles to the spine, the front panel stamped in gilt and black with a vignette of a rabbit, pictorial endpapers, frontispiece, title page vignette, illustrated throughout. First issue points with "presumptive" in the last line of page 9 and no advertisements at the rear. In very good condition with rubbing and a closed tear to the crown of the spine. Housed in a green cloth slipcase.
