Presentation copy, inscribed by the author on the front free endpaper in the year of publication, "To Wini with my best wishes, Harper Lee September 14, 1960." The recipient was a neighbor of Lee's in Monroeville, Alabama where she resided. The publication date of the first printing was July 11, 1960, this example was signed two months after the initial publication. Near fine in a very good price-clipped dust jacket.
