This copy is inscribed by both men, to Gordon Parks, a fine association, for Parks was also an African American and also a photographer and novelist, the three obviously well- known to each other. "November 10, 1955/ My very best wishes/ Roy DeCarava" - beneath which, in his familiar green ink: "Especially for Gordon - Sincerely/ Langston". Lower corners rubbed, else very good plus to near fine in a near fine jacket with very light wear. It is difficult to imagine a better association and in such condition.
