Bibliography of the Fine Books Published by the Limited Editions Club is a meticulously compiled reference work that documents the distinguished publishing history of the Limited Editions Club from its founding in 1929 through various periods of artistic and bibliographic innovation. The bibliography offers detailed entries on each edition, including information on typography, illustrators, printers, and binding design—highlighting the Club’s commitment to the union of literary excellence and fine bookmaking. As both a bibliographic record and a celebration of the private press tradition, the work reflects the broader mid-20th-century revival of interest in the book as a physical and aesthetic object. It serves as a vital resource for collectors, scholars of book history, and those interested in the intersection of literature, design, and craftsmanship in modern publishing.
