Duodecimo, pictorial boards with a vignette of Blyth, three pages of advertisements to the front and rear of each volume, illustrated with diagrams. Will Blyth was a twentieth-century magician and author best known for his influential instructional books Paper Magic and More Paper Magic, which helped establish paper as a serious medium for close-up and parlor conjuring. Emphasizing effects built from ordinary materials—such as folding, tearing, transformations, and restorations—Blyth demonstrated how strong presentation and precise handling could produce sophisticated illusions without elaborate apparatus.
