Boldly signed in black felt tip by both. Double matted. In fine condition with MLB and Steiner authentication labels adhered to the lower right corner. The entire piece measures 24 inches by 20 inches.
Derek Jeter and Mariano Rivera were foundational pillars of the Yankees’ late‑1990s and early‑2000s dynasty, combining elite performance with remarkable consistency and postseason excellence. Derek Jeter, a 20-year Yankee, won five World Series titles (1996, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2009), earned 2000 World Series MVP, 1996 AL Rookie of the Year, 14 All-Star selections, five Gold Glove, five Silver Slugger, two Hank Aaron Awards, and was the first Yankee to win All-Star Game MVP. In 2020, his first year of eligibility, he received 396 of 397 possible votes for election into the Baseball Hall of Fame, the second-highest percentage in Major League Baseball history, behind only Mariano Rivera. Mariano Rivera, MLB’s all-time saves leader with 652 saves, was a 13-time All-Star, five-time World Series champion (1996, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2009), and won 1999 World Series MVP as well as multiple Relief Man and Delivery Man of the Year awards. In 2019 he became the first player ever elected unanimously to the Hall of Fame.
