First edition of this first-hand account of the genesis of America’s manned space program. Octavo, original cloth, pictorial endpapers. Signed by each of the Mercury Seven on the front free endpaper, which include Scott Carpenter, Gordon Cooper, John Glenn, Gus Grissom, Wally Schirra, Alan Shepard, and Deke Slayton. Fine in a near fine dust jacket with a small closed tear to the front panel. Housed in a custom half morocco clamshell box.
