First edition. Signed by the author, "greetings! Tasha Tudor" on the title page. Fine in a fine jacket with just a touch of wear. This is the nicest copy we have handled or seen.
Tasha Tudor was the recipient of many awards and honors, including Caldecott Honors for Mother Goose in 1945 and 1 is One in 1957. She received the Regina Medal in 1971 for her contributions to children's literature. Tudor also illustrated for beloved children's novels, such as The Secret Garden and The Night Before Christmas. The White Goose contributed to her reception of these awards.
