First edition of the racing legend's autobiography. Octavo, original publisher's green cloth, top stain blue, illustrated with black and white photographs. Signed by Stirling Moss on the front free endpaper. Sir Stirling Moss was a British former Formula One racing driver. An inductee into the International Motorsports Hall of Fame, he won 212 of the 529 races he entered across several categories of competition and has been described as "the greatest driver never to win the World Championship". In a seven-year span between 1955 and 1961 Moss finished as championship runner-up four times and third the other three. Fine in a very good dust jacket.
Jim Clark (1936–1968) was a Scottish Formula One driver widely regarded as one of the most naturally talented and technically proficient racers in the history of motor sport. Competing primarily for Team Lotus under Colin Chapman, Clark won two Formula One World Championships (in 1963 and 1965) and the Indianapolis 500 in 1965, achievements that showcased his versatility across different forms of racing. Renowned for his smooth driving style, mechanical sensitivity, and calm demeanor, he redefined the art of precision and control at high speeds during an era when motor racing remained exceptionally dangerous.
