Raphaël-Georges Lévy (1853–1933) was a prominent French banker, economist, and politician whose career bridged the financial and intellectual spheres of the French Third Republic. Trained in law and political economy, he became a respected professor at the École Libre des Sciences Politiques and later a member of the Académie des Sciences Morales et Politiques, where he published extensively on credit, banking, and monetary policy. Lévy combined his theoretical expertise with practical engagement as a director of several major banking institutions, contributing to debates on economic modernization, free trade, and fiscal responsibility in late nineteenth- and early twentieth-century France.
