The Traitor: Being the Untampered With, Unrevised Account of the Trial and All That Led to It is a 1926 memoir by Harry K. Thaw, the wealthy Pittsburgh heir who gained national notoriety for the 1906 murder of architect Stanford White. In this self-published account, Thaw presents his version of the events surrounding the killing, his subsequent trial, and the circumstances that led to his actions, particularly focusing on his relationship with his wife, Evelyn Nesbit, and her past involvement with White. Thaw was found not guilty because of insanity.
