First edition of this work with drawings by Salvador Dali. Octavo, original cloth, illustrated. Boldly signed by Salvador Dali in the year of publication with an original drawing depicting a mother and child looking at heavenly bodies in the night sky. The Maze is believed to have been inspired by the “Monster of Glamis Castle,” and was adapted into a 1953 horror film starring Richard Carlson and Veronica Hurst. Near fine in a very good dust jacket with some holing. Rare and desirable.
