Color photograph of baseball legends Mickey Mantle and Brooks Robinson. Signed by both Mickey Mantle and Brooks Robinson. Framed on a custom mount with a commemorative plaque. The entire piece measures 13 inches by 10.5 inches. In fine condition.
Mantle won the Triple Crown in 1956, when he led the major leagues in batting average (.353), home runs (52), and runs batted in (RBI) (130). He later wrote "My Favorite Summer 1956" about his best year in baseball. In 1964, Robinson had his best season offensively, hitting for a .318 batting average with 28 home runs and leading the league with 118 runs batted in, winning the American League Most Valuable Player Award. In the American League MVP voting, he received 18 of the 20 first-place votes, with Mickey Mantle finishing second.
