Lengthily inscribed by the chef/author Joël Robuchon on the half-title page to Jacques Ourévitch. Additionally inscribed by chef Catherine Michel on the half-title page. In near fine condition. Cover design by George Lemoine. Books signed by Robuchon are rare.
French chef and restaurateur Joël Robuchon was named "Chef of the Century" by the guide Gault Millau in 1989 and awarded the Meilleur Ouvrier de France (France's best worker) in cuisine in 1976. Rising to prominence as the head chef at Jamin in Paris, a restaurant that achieved international renown under his leadership, Robuchon quickly established a reputation for elevating classical French cuisine with precision, refinement, and artistry.
