Enzo Ferrari (1898–1988) was an Italian automotive pioneer and founder of the Ferrari marque, whose legacy as a racing driver, team manager, and industrialist profoundly shaped the history of motorsport and high-performance engineering. Beginning his career with Alfa Romeo before establishing Scuderia Ferrari in 1929 and later Ferrari S.p.A. in 1947, he combined technical innovation with an almost mythic vision of speed, competition, and mechanical perfection. Known for his uncompromising standards and intense personal charisma, Ferrari cultivated a brand that symbolized both Italian excellence and the romantic allure of racing.
