First edition in English of this biography of Christopher Columbus written by his son. Folio, half-cloth, all edges marbled, paper label to front panel. Extracted from vol. II of the Churchills' Collection of Voyages and Travels, the Italian original was first published in 1571. In near fine condition with light toning and rubbing to rear panel. An exceptional example.
