A 1928 graduate of the New York University College of Dentistry, Dr. Oringer dedicated over five decades to advancing professional and public awareness of oral cancer, emphasizing the critical importance of early diagnosis and treatment. He developed and promoted the use of electrosurgical techniques for the safe removal of suspected cancerous tissues, thereby minimizing the risk of disease spread during biopsy procedures.
