Rare portrait of the prolific writer Robert Louis Stevenson. Pencil bust portrait of the author on heavy wove paper. Signed in pencil by Stevenson on the lower margin. Additionally signed and dated by the artist on the lower right, "SKroyer Cernay la Ville 20 Juni 79." Double matted and framed. In fine condition. The piece measures 10 inches by 12.25 inches. An exceptional piece.
Robert Louis Stevenson was a Scottish novelist, poet, essayist, and travel writer. His most famous works are Treasure Island, Kidnapped, Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, and A Child's Garden of Verses.
