Early printing of Upton Sinclair's social and political satire and the basis for the film There Will be Blood starring Daniel Day Lewis. Octavo, original cloth. Near fine in a near fine just jacket with one small chip to the rear panel. A nice example.

"A splendid, honest, clean attempt at a real interpretation of our age" (Walter Prichard Eaton). The story served as the primary inspiration for the 2007 film There Will Be Blood, written and directed by Paul Thomas Anderson and starring Daniel Day-Lewis and Paul Dano.
