Early black and white photograph of legendary crooner Frank Sinatra. Warmly inscribed by him, "Best wishes to Ace – Love and Kisses Frankie." In near fine condition. Double matted and framed. The entire piece measures 13.5 inches by 15.5 inches. Rare and desirable signed by Sinatra.
American composer and musical director Saul Chaplin won three Oscars for collaborating on the scores of An American in Paris (1951), Seven Brides for Seven Brothers (1954) and West Side Story (1961). Chaplin worked with a became friends with most of the major songwriters and performers of his era, including Cole Porter, Ira Gershwin, Leonard Bernstein, Julie Andrews, and Frank Sinatra.
