Early printing of Vardon's masterpiece. Octavo, original green cloth with titles to the spine in gilt, illustrated. Boldly signed by the author on the front free endpaper "Harry Vardon April 25 1915." In very good condition. Books signed by the legendary golfer are rare.
Harry Vardon was a member of the Great Triumvirate of the sport in his day, along with John Henry Taylor and James Braid. He went on to win The British Open Championship a record six times and also won the U.S. Open.
